Ukrainian juice producer expecting to get hit hard by Russian ban

KIEV, Aug. 4 - Vitmark-Ukraine (the Jaffa, Nash Sik and Prosto Frukty brands) expects that juice production will considerably fall due to the decision of the Russian consumer protection watchdog Rospobtrebnadzor to ban imports of juice from Ukraine to Russia.


Ukraine reportedly planning sanctions against Russian-owned companies

MOSCOW, Aug. 4 - Ukraine is planning to impose sanctions in the coming days against companies with Russian capital that operate in the country, Russian newspaper Kommersant reported on Monday, citing a Ukrainian government source.

19 Ukraine sailors reportedly to be freed once Ukraine returns autos

KIEV, Aug. 2 – Nineteen Ukrainian sailors from the Etel ship, who were captured by Libyans in Benghazi on July 17, will be freed after Ukraine returns 650 cars, which were paid for but not delivered to the customer, the Vesti newspaper wrote on Friday.

Resumption of Karpatnaftokhim operations delayed, Lukoil rep reports

Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan to sign Ukraine pipe deal by Oct. 1

MOSCOW, Aug. 4 – Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan are to sign an international agreement by October 1 on the volume of pipe supplied from Ukraine duty-free.

Decision No. 702 has been posted on the Customs Union's Web site.
