MOSCOW, Aug. 4 – Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan are to sign an international agreement by October 1 on the volume of pipe supplied from Ukraine duty-free.
Decision No. 702 has been posted on the Customs Union's Web site.
The decision confirmed the size of the present anti-dumping duty on imports of pipes from Ukraine to Russia over the quota-volume: 18.9% on boring casing, 19.9% on oil-well tubing and from 19.4% to 37.8% on oil pipeline pipes. From October 1, 2011 the duties will be levied on pipes imported to Belarus and Kazakhstan over the quota limits.
Earlier the quota limit was approved under an agreement between the Ukrainian and Russian economy ministries. The document proposes to sign a new agreement with participation of Belarus and Kazakhstan by October 1, 2011.
