KIEV, Aug. 2 - Ukrainian petrochemical plant LLC Karpatnaftokhim will not be able to resume operations on August 1 as its launch has been pushed back to a later date, the Capital newspaper reported, citing Sergei Chmykhalov, the representative of Russian oil company Lukoil in Ukraine.
As reported, Oleksandr Kalenkov, first deputy head of the State Agency for Corporate Rights and Property, earlier predicted that Karpatnaftokhim, which is located in Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region, would resume operations on August 2 after sitting idle for a year.
