Consumer agency asks appliance producers to help find counterfeits

KIEV, Nov. 29 – The State Inspectorate for Consumer Rights Protection has sent a proposal to the central offices of the 12 largest global producers of electrical household appliances on conducting joint inspections of the Ukrainian electrical household appliances market to ferret out counterfeit goods.

Government gets another 6-month extension on $2 billion VTB loan

MOSCOW, Dec. 1 - Ukraine's Finance Ministry has extended an agreement with VTB Capital on the provision of a $2 billion credit for Ukraine by six months, the ministry said in a statement.

Ukraine’s Metinvest signs slab supply contract with Egyptians

KIEV, Dec. 1 - Ukraine’s largest steel and mining group Metinvest, the Egyptian ministry of defense and Abu Zabel, a defense company, signed a contract for the supply of 27,000 metric tons of slabs, the industrial policy ministry reported.
