Zorya-Mashproekt to supply energy equipment to China Offshore Oil Co.

KIEV, July 2 - State Enterprise Gas Turbine Scientific Production Complex Zorya-Mashproekt (Mykolaiv) will supply a next batch of energy equipment in the interests of the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), the press service of the enterprise has told Interfax-Ukraine.

Ukraine to convert half of $2 billion VTB dent into eurobonds

KIEV, July 2 - Ukraine will convert the remaining half of its $2 billion debt to VTB into eurobonds, VTB Chairman Andrei Kostin told the press in Kiev.

VTB allocated a six-month bridge loan to Ukraine in June 2010 (ahead of sovereign eurobond placement and receipt of the first tranche of an IMF loan) totaling $2 billion at 6.7% per annum. Later VTB passed Ukrainian loan rights to VTB Capital. Payments were due in June 2012 as the six-month loan was extended three times to a total of 1.5 years.

Ukraine’s Oschadbank ordered to help utilities raise UAH3.8bln

KIEV, July 2 – The Ukrainian cabinet has approved state guarantees for municipal heat supply companies to raise up to UAH3. 8 billion from Oschadbank to pay their debts for natural gas consumed in 2009.

This year's procedure for the issue of state guarantees to economic entities that generate heat energy for households and budget organizations was approved in cabinet resolution No. 644 of June 22, 2009.


Kiev company to build two waste recycling plants in capital area

KIEV, June 30 – Kiev-based Liko-Holding Ltd. plans to build two waste recycling plants near waste dumps near Velyki Dmitrovychy (Kiev region) and Troyeschyna District in Kiev, the Delo newspaper reported on Tuesday, referring to Liko-Holding's honorary president and Regions Party MP, Ihor Lysov.
