KIEV, July 2 – The number of unprofitable Ukrainian banks grew in Q2, which requires changing the orientation of the control work of tax bodies, according to Tetiana Sysoyeva, the director of the department overseeing financial institutions and operations in external economic activity at the STAU.

"It will be worse than in Q1. I expect that losses will be larger and the number of unprofitable banks will grow too, although I hope I'm wrong," she said at a roundtable in Kiev on Wednesday.
