Boeing sues Russian and Ukrainian Sea Launch partners in US court
MOSCOW, Feb. 6 - Boeing Co. has sued its Russian and Ukrainian partners - Russia's RSC Energia and Ukraine's Pivdenne Design Bureau - in the satellite launch service Sea Launch, saying they refused to pay it more than $350 million following the joint-venture's bankruptcy filing in 2009, Bloomberg reported. |
Inflation held steady in January at 0.2%, according to government
KIEV, Feb. 6 – Inflation in Ukraine in January was 0.2%, same as in December 2011, the State Statistics Service reported on Monday.
In annual terms (against the same month of the previous year) inflation in January 2012 fell to 3.7%, from 4.2% in December, the service said. |
Ukraine has suspended Russia electric imports, PM tells Facebook
KIEV, Feb. 3 – Ukraine has suspended imports of Russian electricity, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said in a posting on his page in Facebook.
"There was a period when we had to import electricity from Russia, but this was connected with the switching off of a power unit at Zaporizhia nuclear power plant on the one hand, and on the other hand it was easier to cover this shortage by [importing] supplies from neighboring countries," he wrote. |
