Krymenergo to borrow $150m from EBRD to upgrade power lines
KIEV, June 8 ??“ Simferopol-based Krymenergo, the electricity supply company, plans in late November plans to sign an agreement on a $150 million credit for an upgrade of power transmission lines in Crimea with the European bank for the Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Krymenergo Chairman and Director General Hryhoriy Hruba said.

Swiss Nestle to build $45-mln pasta making plant in Ukraine’s Volyn region
KYIV, May 10 – Swiss Nestle, the largest manufacturer of food and non-alcoholic beverages in the world, has started the announced construction of an enterprise for the production of pasta and other food products in the village of Smolyhiv, Torchyn community, Volyn region, the investment in which was previously estimated at CHF 40 million (almost $45 million), according to business.rayon publication.

1,500 employees loyal to Ukraine remain at Zaporizhia NPP
KYIV, May 11 – Some 1,500 employees remain at the Zaporizhia NPP who refused to sign contracts with the fake JSC Zaporozhye NPP Operating Organization and are waiting for the arrival of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to continue working at the plant after its de-occupation with the Ukrainian leadership.
