KYIV, May 10 - Ukraine, in preparation for the upcoming heating season, must revise regulations for the use of gas in centralized heating in order to reduce its consumption to the level of own production, Andriy Kobolev, the former head of Naftogaz, believes.
Given the large number of people who have changed their place of residence and are now closer to the west of Ukraine, it is necessary to revise the regulations as quickly as possible and try to introduce those technical changes that will improve the efficiency of using gas in the central heating system," he said at a briefing in the media center in Lviv on Tuesday.
