KIEV, Sept. 3 - Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko Thursday denied media reports that Ukraine will reduce tariffs for transportation of Russian natural gas to Europe in exchange for Russia waving a penalty for lower gas imports.

But the reports are getting political attention in Ukraine with Tymoshenko’s rivals insisting she disclose her talks with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Tuesday that may contain sensitive issues.
