KYIV, April 18 - By the end of May, Ukraine will be able to export all the remaining grain from the 2023 harvest, which will lead to higher prices on both the domestic and global markets, said the President of the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA), Mykola Horbachev, at the Black Sea Grain conference in Kyiv on Thursday.
“Our forecast is that the price will increase slightly. We will now see at the end of the season that the price will go up a little, because Ukraine at the end of May will already be able to export almost all of its balances. The month of June will pass with almost nothing. The price in the world will go up a little - slightly up. In Europe, the yield will be lower. Prices will be slightly better for our agricultural producers,” he said.
