KIEV, April 16 – Ukraine may restrict imports of coking coals at five million tons for 2009, the director of the department for development of economic sectors at the Economy Ministry, Oleh Pendzin, said Wednesday.

Ukraine imported around 10 million tons of coking coal in 2008, and this year around five million tons should be imported, taking into consideration a fall in metal production volumes.
