KIEV, Oct. 20 – The Ukrainian cabinet has suspended a scheduled increase in the tariffs for the transportation by rail of products of the metals and mining sectors and chemical industry until the end of 2008.

Ukrzaliznytsia deputy director general, Viktor Chorny, said at a press conference on Oct. 17 that the decision was made at a cabinet meeting held on Oct. 14, and the resolution will be published early next week.
