KIEV, Oct. 14 – Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko Tuesday sought to distance herself from Ukraine’s ongoing financial crisis by suggesting it was up to the National Bank of Ukraine and President Viktor Yushchenko to contain it.
Tymoshenko reacted to Yushchenko’s comments on Monday accusing her government for running a “weak” budget policy that he believed had provoked the recent downward pressure on the hryvnia.
