KIEV, Oct. 13 – The Ukrainian government needs to take a number of steps to overcome the crisis in various sectors of economy, Economics Minister Bohdan Danylyshyn said.

"Taking into account risks of reduction of export-oriented industries as a result of the falling international demand and complication of the procedure of payments for export operations, we need to carry out a number of measures aimed at the extension of the internal demand for export goods and services, thus enhancing the role of domestic production," the minister said in an article published in a Saturday's issue of the Mirror of the Week newspaper.
