KIEV, Oct. 6 – President Viktor Yushchenko on Monday extended “for several days” his earlier deadline for political groups to form a new coalition in Parliament before he dismisses the legislature and calls early election.

The comment means Yushchenko will probably not sign a dismissal decree on Tuesday, the deadline he had set last week for the groups to form the coalition, letting the groups continue their talks.
