KIEV, June 3 – Three judges, earlier appointed by President Viktor Yushchenko to the Constitutional Court, on Tuesday have been successfully sworn in, strengthening the president’s control over the important panel.
Yushchenko, who is thought to have been losing influence on the court over the past two months, needs more loyalists at the panel ahead of debate over future constitutional amendments.
