KYIV, Sept 21 – Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, during his visit to New York, called for strengthening sanctions against the Russian Federation for its intention to hold a pseudo-referendum in the occupied territories, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.
"Dmytro Kuleba raised the issue of strengthening international sanctions against the Russian Federation for its crimes against Ukraine, in particular in the context of Moscow's intentions to hold pseudo-referendums in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories. The minister stressed the importance of closing loopholes that Russia can use to circumvent sanctions," the message says.
