KIEV, April 19 – President Petro Poroshenko met with Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Boris Johnson and Minister of State for the Ministry of Defense Mike Penning in London on Wednesday, April 19, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral military cooperation and develop economic interaction.

"The President of Ukraine has expressed gratitude to the British officials for consistent support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. It was noted that as one of the guarantor countries of Ukraine's independence under the Budapest Memorandum, the UK can play an important role in ensuring security in Ukraine," the presidential press service said on Wednesday evening.
