KIEV, Nov. 30 – President Petro Poroshenko and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau discussed during a meeting in Paris on Sunday the prospects for deepening the special partnership between the two states, the official website of the Ukrainian president reported.
"The Ukrainian and Canadian leaders emphasized the importance of deepening the special partnership between the states, particularly in trade and economic and military and technical areas. The interlocutors also noted the need to prepare for signing a bilateral agreement on free trade area as soon as possible," reads a statement posted on the official website of the Ukrainian president.
