Prosecutor General's office probing Crimea electric supply contracts

KIEV, Feb. 17 – Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office is investigating the possible violation of Ukrainian law during the signing of contracts on the supply of electricity to Crimea.

When asked by Interfax-Ukraine if criminal proceedings into materials which the governmental commission sent to the PGO on the supply of electricity to Crimea have begun, Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin said that there is a criminal proceeding regarding Crimea and it is being investigated.
