KIEV, Nov. 11 – The devaluation of the hryvnia in the past days to UAH 14.50-15/$1 is caused by war risks and panic of the public, while the economically justifiable level of the national currency is within UAH 12.50-12.90/$1, Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak said.

"The main person responsible for this is war and those who unleashed it. We should be calm. Panic is dangerous for the state and for each citizen," he said on the Ukraina television channel last week.
