KIEV, May 13 - Ukraine's acting president and parliament speaker, Oleksandr Turchynov, and European Council President Herman Van Rompuy have discussed the country's upcoming presidential elections, set for May 25.
Turchynov reaffirmed Ukraine's readiness to do its best to become a worthy member of the European family, parliament's press service reported.
He said that the new authorities had stabilized the situation in the country, despite aggression from Russia.
