KIEV, Dec. 20 – The Cabinet of Ministers plans to include UAH 151.9 billion of borrowing in the 2014 budget, which is UAH 22.49 billion or 17.4% more than the borrowing target for 2013, according to an explanatory note to the draft law on the national budget for 2014.
According to the note, borrowing on the foreign market will total UAH 36.98 billion or 1.2% more than the 2013 indicator, which is not in line with the agreements of presidents Viktor Yanukovych and Vladimir Putin that Russia will buy Ukraine's eurobonds worth up to $15 billion reached on December 17, 2013.
