MOSCOW, Dec. 12 - Moscow will support any decision Kiev might make regarding cooperation with the European Union or Russia, but at the present time Ukraine tends to opt for closer industrial cooperation with Russia, says Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov.
"We believe Ukraine will decide which status that is most suitable for it on its own and that it will decide whether it should continue negotiations on free trade with the European Union or seek closer economic ties with Russia," Shuvalov said on Rossiya 24 news television channel.
