KIEV, June 18 – A memorandum of understanding signed by the Ukrainian government and metal and mining companies foresees the companies retaining jobs and boosting output in exchange for the refunding of value added tax and low growth of tariffs for transportation and energy, Deputy Prime Minister Yuriy Boyko said.
"The government is obliged to refund value added tax to the export-oriented sector on time, and keep the growth in tariffs for energy and transportation at no more than 5% for the term the memo is in effect," Boyko said.
