KIEV, Dec. 21 – Monetary gold in Ukraine's international reserves rose by 25.5% January through November 2012, to 1.13 million troy ounces, the National Bank of Ukraine said.
Since the beginning of 2012, the amount of monetary gold in Ukraine's international reserves increased by 25.5%, or 230,000 troy ounces, to 1.13 million troy ounces as of the beginning of December 2012.
As the NBU said, the share of monetary gold in Ukraine's international reserves has almost doubled from 4.36% to 7.72% in December 2012: the total sum of international reserves January through November 2012 shrank by 20.3%, or $6.44 billion, to $25.355 billion.
