KIEV, Nov. 7 – Siemens Ukraine Company, a subsidiary of Siemens Concern, plans in the first quarter of 2013 to select a Ukrainian partner for the joint realization of a project on the production of trams in Ukraine, Siemens Ukraine CEO Cornelius Granig told journalists.
"Today we're interested in participating in the Ukrainian Tram project. There is a clear strategy. I think that in the first quarter of 2013 we'll be able to name a Ukrainian partner for tram production in Ukraine. There are many plants that are able to realize the project. We're actively discussing [the issue] and there is a plan how to realize a project similar to the one we successfully realized in Romania," he said.
