KIEV, May 15 – Ukraine and Russia Tuesday failed to make progress in talks over natural gas prices after President Viktor Yanukovych rejected Moscow’s plan to place Ukrainian gas pipelines under the control of Gazprom.

Yanukovych traveled to Moscow for a meeting with Vladimir Putin, the recently sworn in Russian President, seeking to restart and make progress in the talks.
