BRUSSELS, April 17 – German, Belgian and Dutch newspapers have criticized the inflation of hotel prices in Ukraine ahead of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship and quoted UEFA President Michel Platini, who said that swindlers and mobsters were behind the growth of hotel prices in Ukraine.

One of Germany's leading newspapers, Der Spiegel, reported that hotels were breaking contracts with tour operators in order to raise prices.
