KIEV, April 10 – The Justice Ministry has approved a special procedure to check whether candidates for state and local government posts have corporate interests.

The ministry said that the checks will be carried out under Article 11 of the law of Ukraine on the foundations of the prevention of and fight against corruption, which stipulates that information on the corporate rights of candidates for public positions connected with the functions of the state and local governments must be checked.
