KIEV, Oct. 3 – The introduction of the electronic state procurement system in 2012 will save around 10% of the national budget's funds or UAH 40 billion, a lawmaker from the Regions Party, Iryna Horina, said at a roundtable devoted to the introduction of the system.

"If we manage to quickly introduce the system, in 2012 we could save UAH 40 billion," says Horina, who is the author of a draft law on amendments to the law on state procurement No. 8633.
