KIEV, Feb. 15 – Parliament will take a final decision on an anticorruption law submitted by the president on March 1, according to Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn.
"If we are ready this week, then we will consider [the anticorruption law of the president] this week... But, honestly speaking, it should be considered on March 1 to take a final decision," Lytvyn said.
Lytvyn said that Parliament’s main legal department is considering the president's bill. He said that he had a conversation with the management of the parliamentary committee that is preparing a respective comparative table on the bill, as well as the suggestions and remarks of the committee on the document.
