KIEV, Dec. 8 – Ukraine is waiting for the specification of the priorities of the European Union in the construction of bypass gas pipelines, according to Fuel and Energy Minister Yuriy Boyko.

"It's unclear why European Union countries are participating in the construction of South Stream pipeline, when they've claimed the top priority for the European Union is the Nabucco gas pipeline," he said at the conference entitled "The energy problems of Europe and the issue of the Russian-Ukrainian cooperation" in Kiev on Tuesday.
