KIEV, April 19 – Vehicle production in Ukraine in 2010 could fall by 20% compared to 2009, when 69,300 passenger cars, trucks and buses were assembled, according to the Ukrautoprom association.

"Taking into account the indicators of the first quarter [the fall in car production was 42% year-over-year] and trends of a narrowing market, our analysts forecast that in 2010 vehicle production in Ukraine will fall by some 20%," Ukrautoprom President Mykhailo Reznik told the press last week.
