Yushchenko calls on government to support bridge building projects
KIEV, Sept. 21 – President Viktor Yushchenko has called on government to provide the necessary financing for the construction of bridges across the Dnipro in Zaporizhia.
"The government has to allocate UAH 500 million from the budget for 2009 to finance this construction without a fuss, without advertisement, and without billboards," the president said while visiting the construction site on Friday, the presidential press service reported. |

Ukrainian Cyclone rocket to blast of from Braqzil’s Alcantara in 2010
NEW YORK, Sept. 23 - President Viktor Yushchenko has confirmed that Ukraine's Tsyklon (Cyclone)-4 launch vehicle will blast off from Brazil's Alcantara space center in 2010.
"The first launch as part of the Tsyklon-4 project will be carried out in 2010," Yushchenko told Ukrainian journalists in New York on Tuesday.
