Russia, Ukraine face crisis, Putin says

MOSCOW, Dec. 29 - Russia and Ukraine are facing a "crisis" in bilateral relations amid a failure to resolve the natural gas dispute that threatens supplies to the European Union, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday.
