KIEV, Dec. 29 – Each Ukrainian owes UAH 6,500 due to the credit policy of the Ukrainian government, President Viktor Yushchenko said on the First National TV channel, according to the Ukrainska Pravda online edition.

"Now each Ukrainian owes UAH 6,500 [to creditors]. Eight months ago the debts per capita reached UAH 1,200 on average... if the premier were in office for another six or seven months, we won’t have money to give even change," the head of state said.
