Security service proposes state procurement transparency measures

KIEV, July 10 – The Security Service, after revealing substantial infringements during the implementation of state procurement, has proposed to the Cabinet of Ministers to oblige state-run enterprises which carry out state procurement using their own funds to post information on the outcome of the state procurement on the state procurement Web site (tender.me.gov.ua).

16 reported dead after Rivne region state nursing home catches fire

KIEV, July 10 - Sixteen people died in Ukraine early Sunday after a fire broke out in a state facility for the elderly, according to Ukraine’s Emergency Ministry.

The retirement home was a wooden house built in 1950 in the village of Bile in the Dubrovitskiy district of the Rivne region, the ministry reported.
