KIEV, July 8 - President Viktor Yanukovych has signed legislation that amends the country's law by laying out the principles for the functioning of its natural gas market, which will allow national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrayiny to fulfill a gas-export agreement with Poland's state oil and gas company PGNiG, the presidential press service said.
Parliament voted in favor of Ukrainian gas exports with this bill on June 17.
The law contains provisions allowing Naftogaz Ukrayiny and its subsidiaries to export natural gas produced in Ukraine in amounts okayed by the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.
