Local emergencies declared at six Kiev landslide risk sites

KIEV, April 11 – The Kiev municipal administration's standing commission on industrial and environmental safety and emergency situations has identified six areas where there are increased risks of landslides and has declared local emergencies there, the Kiev municipal administration announced in a statement, Ukrainian News reported.


President rules out pardon for Tymoshenko

KIEV, April 11 - President Viktor Yanukovych on Thursday ruled out giving a pardon to jailed opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko until courts issue final rulings on her appeal of a seven-year jail sentence and two other cases currently underway.

SBU names Tymoshenko bloc MP in Rodovid Bank embezzlement scandal
