KIEV, April 11 – The Kiev municipal administration's standing commission on industrial and environmental safety and emergency situations has identified six areas where there are increased risks of landslides and has declared local emergencies there, the Kiev municipal administration announced in a statement, Ukrainian News reported.
The commission declared local emergencies at a site near Admirala Ushakova Street and Kvitky Osnovianenka Street, at a site on Akademika Kaschenka Street and Uchbovyi Lane (Holosiivskyi district), at a site on the slopes of the Hlynka lake near Filatova Lane and Druzhby Narodiv Boulevard (Pecherskyi district), and 2 sites around Batyeva Hill (at the corner of Lokomotyvna Street and Krasnodonska Street as well as at the corner of Provodnytska Street and Radisna Street in the Solomianskyi district).
