Former prime minister sentenced to 7 years for Russian gas deal role

KIEV, Oct. 11 - Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko on Tuesday was sentenced to seven years in prison for exceeding her authority while negotiating a controversial 10-year natural gas agreement with Russia in January 2009.
