KIEV, Nov. 11 – Parliament has ratified an agreement between Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers and the United Arab Emirates on mutual protection of classified information.


Russian Ag embargo could cost us $205 million, says trade official

KIEV, Nov. 11 – If Russia introduces an embargo on Ukrainian farm produce and food imports on January 1, 2016, then Ukrainian exports will fall by about $140-205 million, according to Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade and Trade Representative of Ukraine Nataliya Mykolska.


USITC decides to retain existing carbon steel antidumping duties

KIEV, Nov. 11 – The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) on November 9 determined that revoking the existing antidumping duty order on cut-to-length carbon steel plate from China and terminating the suspended investigations into cut-to-length carbon steel plate from Russia and Ukraine would be likely to lead to a continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time.


US Senate approves $300 million for Ukraine military assistance

KIEV, Nov. 11 – The U.S. Senate approved on Tuesday the National Defense Authorization Act for the 2016 Fiscal Year which envisages $300 million in military assistance to Ukraine.


IMF team to arrive in Kiev to gage progress made under bailout program

KIEV, Nov. 11 - An International Monetary Fund mission will arrive in Kiev on Thursday to assess progress made under its $17.5 billion bailout program, Reuters reported on Wednesday, citing Fund's Ukraine representative Jerome Vacher.

Under the program, Ukraine has already received almost $10 billion this year to shore up its finances crippled by separatist conflict and years of economic mismanagement and corruption.

Freight carrier arrives in Illichivsk to unload South African coal

KIEV, Nov. 10 – The bulk carrier Bottiglieri Challenger with about 85,000 tons of anthracitic thermal coal arrived at the Illichivsk port from South Africa on November 9 and started unloading the coal, the state company Ukrinterenergo has reported.
