IMF: Some Standby money has been used to pay wages and pensions

KIEV, Oct. 28 – Part of the resources provided by the International Monetary Fund as a part of its Stand-By Arrangement with Ukraine have been transferred to the state budget to ensure the timely payment of wages and pensions, the IMF said in a statement issued on Tuesday.

KYIV, Sept 28 – Ukraine needs $43 billion in external financing from the state budget in 2024; attracting it will be more difficult than this year; the Ministry of Finance is doing everything possible to guarantee its receipt, Minister Serhiy Marchenko said on the national telethon on Thursday.
