KIEV, Oct. 28 – Opposition leader Viktor Yanukovych leads Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko in popularity three months before the next presidential election, according to the latest survey released on Wednesday.

Yanukovych leads Tymoshenko 31% vs. 18.4%, suggesting the two would probably square off in the runoff vote in early February, according to a poll released by Research&Branding Group.

In the runoff, Yanukovych would defeat Tymoshenko 41.9% vs. 29.8%, according to the poll.
