KIEV, Oct. 28 – Part of the resources provided by the International Monetary Fund as a part of its Stand-By Arrangement with Ukraine have been transferred to the state budget to ensure the timely payment of wages and pensions, the IMF said in a statement issued on Tuesday.

The issue of wages and pensions in Ukraine was discussed at a Tuesday meeting of IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine Max Alier with Ukrainian trade unions' leaders at the fund's office in Kiev.
