Fitch lowers ratings outlook to negative for six Ukrainian banks
KIEV, July 15 - Fitch Ratings has affirmed the Long-term foreign currency Issuer Default Ratings (IDRs) of Ukraine-based UkrSibbank, Ukrsotsbank (Ukrsots), VTB Bank (Ukraine) (VTBU), ProCredit Bank (Ukraine), Pravex-Bank (Pravex) and Credit Agricole Bank's (CAB) at 'B', and revised their outlooks to negative from stable. |
United Basketball Investments to build EuroBasket 2015 arena in Kiev
KIEV, July 16 - United Basketball Investments (UBI), a company co-owned by Ukrainian businessman Ihor Kolomoisky, is planning to build an arena for the EuroBasket 2015 European Basketball Championship on the grounds of the Kyivhuma plant in Kiev at 6 Holosiyivsky Avenue, according to Kommersant Ukraine newspaper. |
Former Kiev mayor announces high-tech investment fund creation
KIEV, July 13 – Ex-Kiev Mayor Leonid Chernovetsky has announced the creation of the Chernovetsky International Investment Fund.
As the mayor's press service reported, the fund will be officially registered within one or two months. It will start working on the territory of Ukraine and soon – and then in former Soviet republics and several developing Asian counties. |
Pavlohrad chemical plant suspends reprocessing of SS-24 fuel
KIEV, July 15 – The launch of industrial reprocessing of solid rocket fuel from RS-22 ballistic missiles (SS-24 according to NATO classification) at the Pavlohrad chemical plant in Dnipropetrovsk region has been postponed due to a lack of funds, plant Director General Leonid Shyman told Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday. |
