KIEV, July 16 – The Energy and Coal Industry Ministry and China Development Bank have signed a protocol on cooperation in using coal instead of natural gas, the ministry announced.

The provisions of the protocol foresee the possibility of opening a special credit line of $3.656 billion by China Development Bank for financing the program of natural gas substitution with Ukrainian coal by using Chinese technologies.
