Russian coke and pig iron producer resumes sales in Ukraine
KEMEROVO, Nov. 17 - OJSC Koks, the flagship company of Industrial Metallurgical Holding (Koks Group), has resumed sales of coke in Ukraine in recent months and expects shipments to continue, the Russian coke and pig iron producer said in a report. |
Crimea's Chernomorneftegaz announces plans to boost gas production
MOSCOW, Nov. 19 – Crimean-based Chernomorneftegaz (formerly Chornomornaftogaz) is planning to boost gas production to 7 million cubic meters per day in 2015 from the current 5.3 million cubic meters, the company's CEO, Sergei Beim, said at a meeting of the State Duma Energy Committee. |
Producers urge rejection of proposed polyvinylchloride import duty
KIEV, Nov. 19 – Some large producers of PVC window frames have asked the Ukrainian authorities to reject a draft law on the import duty of 0-6.5% on polyvinylchloride (PVC), as the cash cost of PVC window frames and the price of imported PVC window frames could grow, while Karpatnaftokhim LLC (Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region), which is part of Russia's Lukoil, could become a monopolist on the market. |
